Cedar Cultural Center: This is a legendary Minneapolis concert venue for world roots and various acoustic acts and also our favorite venue. Support this wonderful establishment!
Cangleska, Inc.: This is an organization based in Kyle, South Dakota that provides shelter for battered women and their children as well as domestic and sexual assault awareness and education for members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe near and on the Pine Ridge Reservation. A portion of the proceeds from our newest album will go to this cause.
Crazy Beast Studio: Ben Durrant is the humble "miracle ear" engineer/sound-pirate of this ship and we instantly felt welcomed and relaxed by his friendly quiet-guy demeanor. We have done a fair amount of recording at this studio in a relatively short time span as well as just sitting on his couch listening to playbacks with his beast, Beast.
Spaghetti Western String Co.: Michael Rossetto is not only a dear friend of ours who graces our live shows with his wonderful banjo picking from time to time, but he also heads his own musical project, Spaghetti Western String Co. This is a mostly instrumental, acoustic outfit that dwells in the realm of classical, Old World European carnival sounds, but you'd be better off just listening to them yourself.
JG Everest: James Everest is a good friend of ours whose enthusiasm for and devotion to music almost matches his natural talent for the craft. He co-produced our record with us as well as mentored us on how to get our act together and be semi-professional musicians.
Painted Saints: This is an excellent band that mixes klezmer, gypsy, folk, and just about any other roots-style music that comes to mind. You're better off just listening for yourself.
The Pines: Great Minneapolis-based roots music. 'Nuff said.
Hot Muffin: This is not a site, it is the email address of a friend named Anna who created and designed the cover art for our new album Casting the Bones.
The Floorbirds: This is our favorite old-timey duo in the Twins'. Don't sleep!
Kill the Vultures: This is Alexei's other musical project.
